Photoduniya showcases the photographic work of Ranjay Mitra. Done mostly over New England and California, the site focuses on the abundant natural beauty and impressions of these regions.

Ranjay has been photographing for over ten years now and over time has developed a special interest in nature. His interest revolves around impressionistic imagery. A traditional photographer, he uses 35 mm cameras with slide and print films. The impressions displayed on this website, and the others that are not, are as they had presented themselves.

A documentary of various talented musicians who play and charm the San Francisco tourists with their music. This is an extensive project done over a period of over a year meeting, photographing and documenting over fifty musicians in San Francisco.

A long duration documentary project on various body work including but not limited to piercings, tattoos and body painting.

A unique collection of images is being prepared to be published into coffee table books. The first book, Impressions, is a collection of very soft impressionistic images, created over a period of five years from photographs made in New England and California.These books will soon be available for sale from this website.

A second collection of mesmerizing images of natural colors, named Colors, revealing the colors in the natural world around us. Ranging from fall colors of New england, the colors of the rising and setting sun on the wings of cranes, to the poppies of California, this is a very unique collection of very compulsive and powerful images.

The documentary project San Francisco Street Musicians is also being planned to be rolled out as a coffee table book by early 2008. The project, done at the inspiration of all the talented musicians who busk in San Francisco, also aims to bring their music to a wider audience through regular blog updates and description of their work and the San Francisco music culture.
