The 24th Folsom Street fair was celebrated with its usual merry making activities and a lot of dress-ups and a lot of beer and grills. While the origin could have been on liberation and freedom of expression, the fare turned up a lot of people dressed in colorful costumes, with make ups and leather dresses.

While this is still a show business, not everyone is open to the ideas of perversive acts demonstrated by a few of the parade goers. This gentleman, with a Canon camera hanging on his neck, took a moment to pose his unique hair style. The image is taken on hand held Nikon D200 and fill in flash. I shall be uploading more of these images on Photoduniya.com over the next few weeks.

PO had joined the Dancing Medicine Men in San Francisco. The group, led by Josh and Ryan traveled from Chattanooga, Tennessee, and caught up with another guitar and vocal enthusiast. The group of three were playing late in the night at Powell where I met and photographed them.

I have heard of the Mariachi musicians who would parade across Mission and Valencia in the evenings, but have not seen them yet. But I met this Mariachi at Mission lately.

Mark, or as he likes to call himself California Red to make his music and appearance unique, sports agility and a heart full of energy. Spotless moccasins and a signature guitar, the yellow draw band with “Do not cross police line” tag does not escape the attention as Mark plays for the fascinated tourists waiting to board the Powell trolley car.
