| About the Nature Pictures |
.
.
All images are made on fuji chrome, primarily Velvia 50 and Velvia 100 then scanned electronically at 1800 dpi or on high resolution digital media. The usage of Photoshop ™ is limited to cropping, framing and cleaning up the digital file. This is a combination of natural impressiosns and nature shots. The techniques used to create these impressions while shooting are further discussed in the techniques section.
.
.
Most of these images have been done among the colorful natural locations in New England, Connecticut, New Hampshire, upstate New York and Central California in particular. These regions have abundant natural beauty, prime waterfalls and nature takes on amazing colors during fall. The western Californian coast also hold its own valor of beauty. Rugged and surging, this coast is full of natural life including migratory birds, birds of prey and elephant seals.

Macros and close ups of flowers also provide promising subjects for impressions. Wildflowers of the western coast, in their prime colors, are fascinating to shoot. Shrubs, twiners and undergrowth are challenging, but with patience and the right technique, wonderful images would be created.
