This is a macro impressionistic photograph of a wildflower. The individual images were taken with a Nikon F5 on highly saturated film Fuji Velvia. External off-camera Speedlight flash SB600 & SB80DX were used to provide additional light to the individual macros.
After several images were taken of the same image, two were chosen & then one was verically flipped before sandwiching. This created a mirror effect & the halo in the center.
Halo can be created in an image in a couple of ways described in the Photo Tutorial. The best way to create a halo that I have been able to find out is not by multiple exposure but by joining slides together. Using spot filters & ND filters also help improve the halo effect.
