California, and Coyote Hill State Park especially, is one great place for flower photography. With some help from the State Park Supervisor Beverly, I was able to set up a small pot of chrysanthemum flowers in one corner of the butterfly garden.

This is a macro picture of a mum. Two such macro pictures, each over exposed by about +1 were later sandwiched together to create this impressionistic photograph. Both the images were taken with the Nikon F5. Nikon SB600 Sppedlight Flash was used off camera to illuminate the subject.
