Impressionistic Photography: Wild flower in Coyote Hills Park, California, US

This image is created after multiple exposures on the same gate. This is a macro flower photograph & the impressionistic effect was created by exposing the subjects over 10 times on the same gate.

Each exposure was done on Fuji Velvia & had an external off-camera Nikon Speedlight tied to a Nikon F5. The camera was set on auto exposure. The film speed was metered down for the multiple exposure accordingly. The brush stroke like effect was achieved by the mild movement of the tiny flower in the wind.
