Coyote Hill State Park on State Highway 84 is a great place to shoot butterflies & wild flowers. The park superintedant Beverly Ortiz was starting a program to encourage families & photographers visit the newly renovated Butterfly Garden. The garden also had bushes of roses & wild flowers.

This image is a sandwich of 2 images of the same flower. Both the images were taken with an exposure level of +1 & metered in matrix. The central spot on the frame was so bright yellow that it could have underexposed the whole shot.

The images were shot with Nikon F5 with two off camera Nikon 600 Speedlight flashes.
