After I featured my first ehru player, I came across another one. Like the first artist, he too requested to remain unnamed. Added to that, he put on a heavy pair of dark glasses to keep his eyes from showing. That took quite an important feature right off the photograph. But then, I remembered the primary purpose of me being there on the streets, in the cold, at 10:00 PM – I wanted to photograph the street artists and help them being known to a million others who could appreciate their work. So I took a few.

Lately I have started to like low light photography. Low light could seem to be an exaggeration in some of these cases, since many were shot quite late in the night, in the light of the streets.

I am gathering the notes and intend to put them in a book organized around Street Photography in San Francisco, sharing various techniques, effects, locations and subjects. I shall progressively upload a few of these images on the Projects section of photoduniya.com.
